Depilatory creams

Depilatory creams are often used for facial hair removal.The creams use chemical products,usually alkaline based, to breakdown, and remove the hairs. When the creams are applied he chemicals begin eating away at the hair follicles and softening the hairs, after which they can be simply wiped away. Theses products are popular because, they are cheap, quick(generally not more then 10 minutes for a treatment) and it is easy to find the product almost in almost any shop. On the down side the chemicals used often have, strong and unpleasant odor. Also the results are not long lasting since the hair is only removed at or slightly below skin level, regrowth can be expected in only a few days.
